Toronto played host to the VRSC-ARAC’s Spring 2016 – “Hollywood Third Party Clearances” workshop on June 2, 2016. Presented by researcher Laura Blaney, the session focused on the ins and outs of third party clearances relating to the use of feature film clips being used in other productions such as documentaries such as negotiating with talent and clearing the Writer’s and Director’s guilds.
