About My Work I have worked as a researcher and filmmaker for several years. Over the course of my career I have conducted research in academia, theatre, publishing, documentary and film. Two recent examples of my experience: I served as an editor and visual researcher on "The Politics of Preemption, which premiered at the 17th Annual Conference of the Cultural Studies Association and was subsequently published on e-flux and Artforum. In addition to this, I served as a researcher to Laury Silver's popular series of detective novels based in medieval Baghdad, which required me to search and compile sources to help the author furnish a narrative grounded in history.
