Other projects include the 2021 Hot Docs audience award winner Someone Like Me (NFB), the 2019 Canadian Screen Award nominee for Feature Documentary LETTER FROM MASANJIA (2018), the true crime series THE DEVIL YOU KNOW (OWN/ID 2008-2011). I have extensive experience tracking down and clearing archival materials from across North America and the UK including from law enforcement, public archives, libraries and news media. About My Work I began doing visual research in 2006 working on docu-dramas about historical events and true crime. Since then I have worked on visual research for the displays at the Canadian Museum of Human Rights as well several documentaries about NASA, science, the environment, natural disasters and rescue missions. My work has led me to international archives and to unearth 'never before seen footage' of well-known historical events. My most recent project, After The Storm, on Crave, focused on the BC floods of 2021 and featured a wide-range of new and compelling amateur and professional footage.
