I am an independent documentary filmmaker and have done visual and music rights research and clearance for two of my own films. I also write a blog on art and culture and do visual research for that as well. I met with Elizabeth Klinck and she told me about this organization and suggested that I join.

I have 20 years experience researching, licensing and obtaining permissions for visual images as well as experience creating and maintaining visual databases, exhibition curation and project management. Having worked at the Toronto Star for 12 years, I have particular strength researching images in the Toronto Star Photograph Archive, a photojournalism collection of over 1 million prints, now located at the Toronto Reference Library.

I have been working as a visual and archival researcher for television and film since 2014. My largest projects include credits for: the series Million Dollar Genius, for The History Channel; the series Wheels That Fail and Rev'd Up, both for the Velocity Network; and the Series Rogue Earth, for Discovery Canada.I have been working as a visual and archival researcher for television and film since 2014.
